Blue Skies Unlimited introduces multilingual weather products.

We now provide our convenient and fast Weather to GoTM products in a range of languages. These are ideal to localise your web site or attract international visitors to your site.

Fully intergrated into the existing Weather System, ordering multiple languages is a simple process. Simply select your products and locations and then select the desired languages at checkout.

The multilingual Weather to GoTM service is available in traditional and simplified Chinese scripts, German, Korean and Japanese.

BSU selected on the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) eServices Panel
[Feb 2003 - Feb 2006]

Sixty Victorian small to medium IT companies will have the opportunity to share in up to $30 million of the Bracks Government’s IT investment over the next three years.

The Minister for Information and Communication Technology, Marsha Thomson announced that 105 companies had been selected by tender for a new electronic services supplier panel.

"Victorian companies represent more than half the total panel and more than 80% of the Australian suppliers," Ms Thomson said.

Blue Skies Unlimited was previously on the Common Panel for the provision on Online Services to the Victorian Government. The Common Panel was in effect from April 2000 to June 2002.

ICT Student of Excellence

BSU Takes Part in the 2002/03 ICT Excellence Fellowship Program in Victoria
[Dec 2002 - Jan 2003]

Thirty Victorian students will gain hands-on experience and receive mentoring in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) this summer through the Department of Education and Training's 2002/03 ICT Excellence Fellowships Program. This is the second year of the program.

Blue Skies Unlimited welcomes our very own student of excellence, Vincent, who will be with us during the December 2002/ January 2003 period.

Blue Skies Unlimited Launches a Fully Customisable Weather Station
[Nov 2002]

Blue Skies Unlimited launched another weather product to complement the popular one year old BSU Weather Views online weather delivery service called the Weather Station. The Weather Station is a customisable GIF that contains a list of user defined locations with its most current weather data and forecast information.

The user is able to provide a totally personalised background image to brand the Weather Station. The Weather Station background may contain the corporate logo, marketing phases, product specific information and messages, images, etc... to coincide with its marketing campaigns, product launches or branding exercises. This service is available to website owners wishing to provide regularly updated branded weather information to support its existing client base and to attract ongoing brand awareness.

Big Brother Big Sister Australia launched Blue Skies Unlimited sponsored website today. Big Brothers Big Sisters provides direct service to children by matching adults and children between the ages of 7-17 years in quality mentoring relationships. At the national level, BBBS Australia provide services and programs to our member agencies to assist them with their hands-on work with parents, children, and volunteers.

BSU Weather Views featured on Macromedia's Site of the Week

Blue Skies Unlimited Weather Views has been featured on Macromedia Asia Pacific site as "Site of the Week". BSU Weather Views is an online self serve weather service that allows weather information to be easily included on a web site. The service offers current weather conditions and forecasts, Australian surf conditions, radar and satellite images, delivered in XML, CSV, TAB and our very own 'Weather to Go' ready to use images.
